Sunday Swag Series: Bring Your Own Vessels (BYOV) Terrariums

Introducing the Sunday Swag Workshop Series!  Two Sundays each month I'll hold an informative workshop series on a specially selected topic or plant.  Each hands-on class will feature an hour and a half of instruction and a half hour to enjoy refreshments and mingle.  Attendees receive a detailed plant booklet and a thoughtful swag bag to assist on their urban jungle adventures.

Bring Your Own Vessels (BYOV) Terrariums is the workshop many of us needed but did not know we needed.  Have you ever been gifted the most exquisite terrarium, watch it fade to a gradual death, and just held on to it thinking one day you'll make it right?  or maybe you've stumbled across a fabulous vintage glass vessel and thought "that would make the perfect terrarium" but don't know where to begin?  Well, here it is ... the class you've been waiting for.  During the class you'll learn terrarium basics for air plant, succulent, and woodland terrariums (ferns and mosses).  After the basic instruction, I'll consult with you about the best terrarium for your vessel and lifestyle.  Once we've determined what works best you'll grab a swag bag with all the supplies needed for your selected terrarium habitat.  Each swag bag will also include a detailed booklet so you can watch your terrarium thrive and continue your urban jungle adventures.

So, You Think You Want ... A Fiddle Leaf Fig Class

Have you always dreamed about owning a Fiddle Leaf Fig but simply couldn’t convince yourself to bring one home?  Worried they might be too finicky? Fear of making a big investment?  Just don’t know where to start?  Well, it just might be your lucky day. I’m starting a series of  “So You Think You Want …” hands-on plant classes where I’ll teach you all about a featured plant and how to care for it. All participants receive a super healthy and happy plant to take home along with a detailed booklet. Our August featured plant is Ficus Lyrata aka the beloved Fiddle Leaf Fig. Ticket prices are based off the size of plant you would like to take home. All participants should bring their own pot based off size of plant selected (we’ll pot them up during the class). So, if Fiddle Leaf Figs make you giddy and you just can’t go another day dreaming join me in August. Dreams really can come true!
